I woke up this morning to David Teems on my iPod, singing He Is Our Peace. It brought to mind a phrase I have read, twice now, in Isaiah. In chapter 48:22 we read “There is no peace,” says the LORD, “for the wicked.” and again in 57:21 “There is no peace,” says my God, [...] Today’s reading passage in my project to read through the Bible this year was in Isaiah, chapters 46-50.
